Insulation causing a traffic jam


Well as the picture below shows the delivery of the insulation blocked up the whole street. Which didn't seem to go down too well with people on their way back from work.







Well the delivery of the insulation went smoothly until the middle wheel went straight through the man hole cover and left remains in the drain.

Stone hardcore compaction and another delivery

The pictures below show stone hardcore being levelled out and compacted before being blinded by sand.


 The pictures below show the delivery of the blocks ready to  build the walls. 




The pictures below have been taken by the builders to show the building inspector the build up of the ground floor construction.

The pictures above show the sand being delivered on day five. I have to say that lorry is huge!

First set of blocks delivered





The pictures above show day four where all the concrete had been fully poured in and dried and the blocks have been delivered.
